A Way To Go

Ran into him one time. Told him where I was going. He told me I didn’t have to. I told him I will. “ So you shall. ” He said. I asked him if I could come back. He told me where he would be. And as soon as he said it, I knew he was already there waiting for me. So I went.

Consciousness during teleportation

The machine would have to tap into other worldly resources. The body (a phsycisl structure) acts as a facilitator, conduit, container, transmitter and or receiver for consciousness. All living beings (and things) have a version of consciousness. It's the human variety that is rare and particularly delicious. Do not see rare and think 8 billion people. It's not had to make people but no matter how many of us there are, consciousness is a rarity because of its weight, gravity and value. Using the physical like a place holder or a chess piece carved in a particular way to symbolise a particular piece (or element of the game/universe it's/we're in) that inherits that pieces characteristics and ability through being entered into or initiated into the game now holds and represents all the possibilities, availabilities and constrictions available to that piece in any and all games it finds itself in. The chess piece on the board however stationary holds in it the invisible pot...

Forgive

I thought about the idea of forgiveness. I was watching a Trevor Noah interview that I clicked on very reluctantly and I spent the first few minutes watching in anticipation of hearing something that didn't please me and would give me a reason to close the video. I had recently seen Trevor at the Kevin Hart show in Pretoria, South Africa and the reception he received when he walked out was incredible. The crowd erupted and I believed that the show was about to begin and that it was Kevin walking out, being seated where I was it was hard to see who the individual the people were responding to actually was.  the screens turned on and there he was, a local boy turned international and the crowd was pouring out love. A friend of mine who I had gone to the show with immediately got on his feet to welcome Trevor and his excitement was reflecting the general atmosphere in the room at the time. When I saw that it was Trevor I was pleasantly surprised, the love the crowd gave him made...

Mary's Room

I was thinking about how there's a lot we know but don't understand. As we know bats and dolphins use echolocation and we know how it works. We know it works like sonar/radar but I don't think we understand what it must be like to experience the world like that.  During my walk to the shops, I remembered a time I took that same walk high and as I usually am then, I was really anxious. I remembered how different the world appeared.  I was trying to be in the moment but the presence of other people was throwing me off. So I thought about that reality, it was obviously an altered state of consciousness. I thought about animals that might naturally be anxious or are more prone to what we (negatively) understand as anxiety because we are able to be conscious of it. This animal might just live its whole life in that state, not associating it with good or bad. Just being like that and how (obviously) the world would be different to them.  So again the experience of having echo...

The Pro to The Con

Creating my reality with words. Sometimes I find it already written somewhere in some text, book, post, or note. Where it resonates, a Rubik’s cube of the mind is immediately solved. Order returns. But however, there is no shortage of chaos. Finish your celebration and get handed another Rubik’s cube to solve, because the engine we live in, the simulation that’s currently running is designed for that. Entropy is a given and in any place, it isn’t, some other portion, stage, dimension, level, or system of the universe will compensate for it. So we must do as we’re tasked to do, make sense of chaos every chance we get. The superpower is being grateful to get a chance to participate, to not try to control but be a part of. Enjoying the process, truly. Living. Laughing. Loving. Being. It’s a good time. It’s a fucking good time.
